Daisy Vatalaro

Daisy went to Clare College, Cambridge, and then the Eastman School of Music, NY, where she studied with Steven Doane. She was in the Bronte Quartet for five years and since then has had a widely varied performing career.

She has played with orchestras including the Philharmonia, Scottish Chamber Orchestra and London Mozart Players, with period performance groups such as the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and Orchestre Revolutionnaire et Romantique and has recorded and/or toured with jazz, rock and pop musicians including Gilad Atzmon, Robert Wyatt and Imogen Heap. She teaches Dalcroze Eurythmics and Chamber Music at Junior Guildhall and Pro Corda and is also involved in various outreach projects, including having run courses for Lambeth InHarmony and teaching song-writing to children with Special Educational Needs.
