Double Bass Coach.

Alice has been playing the double bass since the age of 12, first playing with the local Jazz band in school in her home county of East Sussex. She went on to study at the Royal College of Music. Alice now performs with various orchestras and ensembles across the UK, including BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Opera House, Royal Northern Sinfonia and Royal Philharmonic Orchestras.

Alice is passionate about music and education, coaching with the Benedetti foundation education team, teaching at St Paul’s Cathedral School and Sussex House School in London, and coaching South London Youth Orchestra and National Children’s Orchestra. Alice is also a member of ‘Albert’s band’ the Royal Albert Hall’s resident education and outreach band. Other education departments include the London Symphony Orchestra Discovery team. Alice’s spare time comprise’s of creating fun videos for her YouTube channel “Alice’s Musical Galaxy,” going to watch concerts, and cake eating!
